Moped rider left with broken leg after collision outside of Argos in Peterborough

Police are appealing for witnesses after an incident involving a moped in Peterborough left the rider with a broken leg.

On Thursday (December 17) at about 4pm the rider, a man in his 60s, was travelling along Maskew Avenue when a car pulled out of the Argos carpark in front of him. The man applied his brakes to avoid a collision, but fell off as a result and the moped landed on him.

Cambridgeshire police are keen to trace the driver of the car, or speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident.

There are no images or description of the car involved.
