Masked men got away with money and a cash machine in a robbery at a service station on the A47 at Wansford in the early hours of this morning (Monday).

Cambridgeshire police said the raid happened at about 4.50am at the BP garage at the Heron Service Station.

Three men wearing balaclavas got away with cash.

No-one was injured.

Detective Constable Pete Wise said: “Thankfully no one was injured during the incident, however the member of staff has been left very shaken by what happened.

“I would urge anyone who may know who is responsible for this to contact police immediately.”

It is believed the three men, described as white, two between 5’ 4” and 5’ 8” and the other about 6’ 2”, left in a red Vauxhall, possibly a Zafira, with a cash machine in the back.

Forensic teams are currently at the scene hunting for evidence.

No-one has been arrested.
