March children’s football club storage shed destroyed by arsonists

A children’s football club in March has been left devastated by a fire which destroyed a storage shed.

Fire crews were called to Maple Grove, March at 6.30pm on Monday.

An outbuilding measuring 8m by 6m was well alight and firefighter used hose reels to extinguish it.

The building, which is believed to have contained sports equipment used by a children’s football club, has been completely destroyed. Another building has also been 50 per cent affected by fire.

Crews returned to their stations by 7.45pm.
