Armed police raided a property in Peterborough this morning and arrested a man on suspicion of attempted murder.
It follows an attack on a man in his early 20s at 11.30pm on Thursday March 16 in Burghley Road, Peterborough.
The victim suffered stab wounds to his lower back and was taken to Peterborough City Hospital.
A pre-planned firearms warrant was executed in Bringhurst, Orton Goldhay, this morning, Wednesday March 29, in connection with the stabbing.
A 38-year-old man from Peterborough has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and is currently in custody at Thorpe Wood Police Station.
The victim has since made a full recovery from his injuries.
