A man has been arrested following a brawl involving seven men outside a bar.

A group of five men were outside Cromwell’s bar in High Street Huntingson at about 3am on Saturday (April 9), when they confronted two other men and a fight broke out.

Police attended and a 21-year-old man from Huntingdon was arrested on suspicion of affray and taken to Thorpe Wood Police Station in Peterborough, however the other four men in the group he was with fled the scene.

No one was seriously injured in the fight.

DC Rachel Brown said: “Unfortunately there is no description of the offenders, however there were a lot of people in the area at the time, so I would urge anyone who witnessed the incident or knows who is responsible to contact us.”

The 21-year-old arrested on suspicion of affray has been bailed to return to Thorpe Wood Police Station on June 2.
