Three masked men robbed a McDonalds restaurant near Peterborough of hundreds of pounds after threatening staff at knife point on Sunday night (22 December).
The group forced their way into the outlet in Lincoln Road, Glinton, after it had closed for the night before midnight on Sunday.
They were wearing balaclava hoods, with two dressed in a camouflage all-in-one piece and the other in a navy gilet with a grey hooded top.
Det Sgt Lisa Alexander said: “One man threatened staff with a knife and demanded money. They made off with cash, no one was injured but staff have been left shaken.
“They made off in a car belonging to a staff member, it was later found abandoned in old Lincoln Road.”
A McDonalds’ spokesperson said: “We are offering our full support to those staff members affected by the shock of the incident and we are co-operating fully with the police in their inquiries.”
