Four arrested after man suffers serious stab wounds in Peterborough

A man is in a serious condition in hospital after he was stabbed at property in Peterborough yesterday, Sunday June 26.

Police were called to an address in Gilpin Street at about 11.42am yesterday where a man in his 30s had suffered a stab wound.

He was taken to Peterborough City Hospital in a serious condition and remains there today.

A 30-year-old man and 33-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. A 49-year-old man and a 54-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of GBH.

Three remain in custody at Thorpe Wood Police Station while the 30-year-old man has been bailed until July 11.

Police are treating the stabbing as an isolated incident.
