The death of a man whose body was found off Lincoln Road in Werrington on Monday is not being treated as suspicious by Cambridgeshire Police.

Officers were called at about 1.45pm on Monday, December 7, by a member of the public reporting a body in the river close to Mancetter Square.

The death was unexplained but officers are now treating the death as non-suspicious.

The case has been passed to the coroner who will carry out a post-mortem.
