A large amount of smoke was seen and multiple calls were received by Combined Fire Control.

A fire in a caravan had spread to involve two terraced properties – no one was in either property at the time of the fire.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reels to prevent the fire from spreading any further.

They extinguished the fire by 6.40pm, when a fire investigation started into the cause of the fire.
