Two boys aged 12 and 13 were spoken to by officers after being seen throwing stones at trains passing through Peterborough Station.

The British Transport Police (BTP) said they are considering whether to take further action after being called by a member of the public at 2.39pm yesterday (Wednesday, January 20).

A spokesman for the BTP said: “We were called to Peterborough station at 2.39pm on Wednesday, January 20 to reports of two youths throwing stones.

“Our officers conducted a search of the area and spoke to two boys aged 13 and 12.

“The boys have been reported for stone throwing.”
