Armed police arrest man for possessing weapons at Peterborough Truckfest
Armed police arrested a man at Truckfest in Peterborough yesterday, Monday May 2, after reports that he had a gun.
A 23-year-old man from Grays in Essex was arrested at the East of England Show Ground and was taken to Thorpe Wood Police Station.
He has been charged with possessing an air weapon in a public place and possessing a knife in a public place.
He has been bailed to appear at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court on May 18.
