A man exposed himself to a dog walker on a public footpath in Peterborough.

It is reported that the victim, a woman in her 40s, was walking her dogs on a public footpath at the rear of Cathwaite, known locally as Nabbs Lane, at about 5.10pm when she was approached by a man.

He asked her for a cigarette, when she noticed he was exposing his genitals.

The man is described as black, 16 to 20-years-old, between 5’ and 5’ 3” tall, slim with a dark brown short but rounded afro hairstyle, clean shaven and was wearing a dark ‘Puffa’ style jacket, dark bottoms and a green rucksack over both shoulders.

PC Liz Gardner said: “This type of behaviour is completely unacceptable and was a particularly unpleasant experience for the victim. I am keen to hear from anyone who may know who this man is, or who may have witnessed the incident.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111 or via their online reporting system via www.crimestoppers-uk.org.
