The Salvation Army’s first 50 years in Peterborough is the subject of a forthcoming talk.

Well-known local author Neil Mitchell will present a talk to the Peterborough and District Family History Society on February 6, based on “The Salvation Army’s first 50 years in Peterborough.”

It will be a chance to learn about the founding of the branch in the city in the late 19th century.

Entry is free and all visitors are welcome. The meeting starts at 7.30pm at Westgate Church, in Westgate, when the help desk and tea/coffee will be available.
