Charity fun day for Paralympic hopeful

Peterborough and Cambridgeshire YMCA is to host a family fun day this Bank Holiday Sunday to raise funds for a Paralympic hopeful.

Craig Green is training to take part in the 2016 Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro.

He is a C5 category cyclist, and is fundraising to purchase equipment and training materials, whilst racing to gain qualification points.

The fun day will be held at The Cresset on Sunday 30th August, from 10am until 4pm.

Admission is free and entertainment includes a bungee run, inflatable sumo tournaments, and a spinning bike challenge with a bicycle as first prize.
