ONLINE business comparethemarket.com, the price comparison site, brought some light relief from the credit crunch to London's commuters when it displayed an open vault containing £16 million at Waterloo station in July.
ONLINE business comparethemarket.com, the price comparison site, brought some light relief from the credit crunch to London's commuters when it displayed an open vault containing 16 million at Waterloo station in July.Now the 3D illustration has been brought to Pegasus House, the HQ of parent company of The BGL Group, in Bakewell Road, Orton Southgate, Peterborough.
The artwork, by world-renowned street artist Kurt Wenner, has been commissioned by comparethemarket.com to demonstrate how much money – all 16 million of it – it believes it has saved customers on their car insurance policies this year, simply by using the site and comparing to get the best deal.
Kurt Wenner is the artist who pioneered anamorphic or illusionistic street painting. His work has been seen on a global level, even having one piece in Italy signed by the Pope.
