Staff at a Peterborough-based commercial agents are celebrating a triple success at national awards.
Barker Storey Matthews, which has its regional headquarters in Priestgate, was named overall winner for the Eaat of England in the commercial property research specialists EGi deals competition.
It is the fourth time in a row the business has taken the overall regional title for the most active agent.
BSM was also named regional winner for the number of industrial deals and for the number of office deals.
An EGi spokesman said: “Barker Story Matthews has made it four consecutive overall wins with what is essentially a rerun of 2015’s result in which it topped the East Anglian office and industrial sectors.”
Steve Hawkins, managing director, said: “Once again we are delighted to have won the most active agent award for the East of England.
“The award is a testament to the excellence of our experienced team of chartered surveyors and agents who have comprehensive knowledge of this region and enduring relationships with developers and investors.
He added: “This year looks like being another busy year with active demand for commercial property at a continued strong level as the first quarter ends and the second quarter begins.”
