Staff get a taste for work abroad

STAFF at Peterborough-based Coloplast have been given a taste of the life enjoyed by their colleagues at the company's international headquarters in Denmark.

STAFF at Peterborough-based Coloplast have been given a taste of the life enjoyed by their colleagues at the company's international headquarters in Denmark.Five staff from Peterborough went to Denmark as part of a cultural exchange programme.

At the same time, staff from Germany visited the firm's UK headquarters in Peterborough to learn more about the way Coloplast works in this country.

Coloplast is a manufacturer of stoma care, continence care and wound care appliances and services, and employs 7,000 staff around the world.

As part of the company's 50th anniversary celebrations, Coloplast organised a series of cultural exchanges to enable staff to learn more about how the company operates in different countries.

Fifty employees from Coloplast's offices around the world were awarded a scholarship to visit the company's offices in other parts of the world.

Among them were five staff from the UK headquarters in Peterborough – Kirri Reedman and Lisa Hilton from customer care, Carol Bonney from finance, Martine Barrett from the warehouse and John Pelan from ostomy marketing.
