Peterborough gets its first taste of new Krispy Kreme at launch

Peterborugh residents got their first taste of the city's new Krispy Kreme restaurant at its VIP launch last night, Monday July 12.

Krispy Kreme opens its trademark Hotlight store at Hadfield in Hampton tomorrow morning, Wednesday July 13, but guests got a first look at the new venue on Monday evening.

In attendance was mayor David Sanders and Peterborough’s own Olympic Louis Smith.

One of only 11 in the entire country, the new Hotlight store opens from 8am.

The store will also be serving Krispy Kreme coffee and its Kreme shakes.

Judith Denby, Chief Marketing Officer at Krispy Kreme UK, said: “Things are really hotting up here at Krispy Kreme, as we get ready to open the doors to doughnut fans across Peterborough at our new Hotlight store on Wednesday!

“We have lots of exciting activities planned for opening day, including the chance to win amazing Krispy Kreme prizes. We’ll see you from 8am!”
