Peterborough-based education communication technology specialist ParentMail is looking for help to name the new star of its demonstration videos.
A smartphone device, the character is an expert of the school communication system and helps schools and parents get their heads round how to use the software.
He’s cheeky, smart and always has a big smile.
ParentMail is running a competition to find a catchy name for this new character. The winning name will be revealed on August 7. To enter, email email@example.com with your suggestions or visit http://www.parentmail.co.uk/blog/whats-in-a-name
A spokeswoman said: “The character has been created as we are launching demonstration videos for schools and needed a character to help bring these videos to life.”
She said: “He (or she!) will be used in the videos but also be found on our website, on the school and parent system and on our help sites.
“His main aim is to help educate schools and parents as to how they can use ParentMail and to offer any tips or advice where he can.
“For example, showing schools the best way to build a form online so that they can get responses back from parents in minutes or showing schools how to set up a parents evening through ParentMail to make life easier.”
