A jewellery store in Peterborough’s Queensgate shopping centre has reopened following a £100,000 revamp.

The long-established Goldsmiths jewellery store has undergone extensive changes to create a number of specialist boutique display areas.

Goldsmiths, the UK’s largest luxury high street jewellers, and has maintained a presence in Peterborough since 1998.

Showroom manager Diane Quick said: “Already home to fashion brands like Michael Kors, the revamp has allowed us to create display areas for luxury Swiss watch brands TAG Heuer and Longines, allowing customers to experience the brands in a boutique environment.

“The whole team is extremely excited about our new store.

“Having the refurbishment will give us a chance to show off our beautiful ranges in amazing surroundings, and the feedback from customers – who have had to wait patiently for a couple of weeks for the re-open – has been hugely positive and was well worth the wait.

“The Peterborough store has a very local, loyal customer base, and we are confident that our new look and extended luxury range will not only meet, but exceed the expectations of our existing and new customers.”
