Hundreds of businesses are expected to gather for the annual Peterborough B2B Exhibition.

The event is the city’s biggest free business-to-business networking event bringing together firms to explore ways to work more collaboratively.

Free seminars will provide guidance on sales and marketing techniques.

The event takes place at the KingsGate Centre in Peterborough on October 21 from 9am to 4pm.

Microsoft will host a demonstration of Windows 10 with Mark Deakin, a small business technology strategist at the company.

Procurement specialists ESPO will be there to explain how the organisation supports SMEs and how companies can become suppliers.

We are delighted to host this vibrant business event.

John Bridge, chief executive

John Bridge, chief executive of Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce, said: “This year we are particularly pleased to be showcasing Ignite Peterborough, a project that provides business support and advice to young entrepreneurs as they bring their business ideas to life.”

Organised by the chambers of commerce and Opportunity Peterborough, the event is sponsored by Peterborough City Council and Peterborough Regional College and supported by Peterborough Telegraph, Connect FM and KingsGate Centre.

Mr Bridge added: ““We are delighted to be back at the KingsGate Centre once again to host this vibrant business event.”
