A range of vacancies will be available for job seekers at a careers fair in Peterborough.

Representatives from the RAF, Data Interchange, 3AAA plus 14 other employers have already signed up to take part in the Jobs Fair.

It will take place at the Queensgate Shopping Centre on May 27 between 10am and 5.30pm.

A spokesman for the organisers said: “Businesses have booked stands and will be ready to talk to jobseekers about a range of vacancies, skills and opportunities.

“It is a chance to find out about the vacancies available and maybe even get interviewed on the spot.

“It’s a good idea to bring copies of your CV and have some idea of the questions to ask potential employers.”

The number of people claiming Jobseeker’s Allowance fell from 2,740 in February to 2,641 in March.
