City all set to host executive coaching programme

THRIVING businesses in Peterborough have one thing in common with other companies worldwide – they want to know how they can ensure they get and keep a performance edge over their rivals.

The answer may be closer to home than they realise. April sees the launch of a nationally accredited coach training programme in Peterborough, which could be just what directors and senior managers need to give their organisation that key advantage.

More and more organisations are using coaching to increase the skills and productivity of managers and teams – with results that drop straight to the bottom line.

When taking coaching into your business, Keith Nelson, managing director at Your Total Coach, suggests you considering the three main applications of coaching:

1. Short Term: performance enhancement.

2. Medium Term: job development and skills enhancement.

3. Longer Term: career management, succession planning, professional growth.

All three applications will be covered in the Your Total Coach Advanced Coaching Programme, starting April 19 and 20, which leads to a nationally recognised qualification.

Keith’s experience also reveals that coaching is the single most effective tool for raising performance, with clear evidence of any and all of the following:

Raised performance and efficiencies.

Higher morale and loyalty.

Empowered teams taking on more responsibility.

Better motivated and committed workforce.

Your Total Coach is offering the first two companies to get in touch a free executive coaching session worth more than £300 and 10 per cent discount if they sign up to the programme.

Your Total Coach is a Peterborough-based company with a national and international client base. Coaching programmes are open to both companies and individuals. The company also offers a range of leadership and management programmes, which are always tailored to bespoke company and sector requirements. Programmes are accredited to either the the Institute of Leadership and Management or the Chartered Management Institute.

Organisations that use coaching as an effective tool and strategy build high performance teams and achieve better results.
