Two branches of Nat West Bank will closed in the Peterborough area in the new year.
The branches at the Orton Centre in Peterborough and at Market Street, Whittlesey, will both close in March 2015.
The closures come after a drop in transactions at the branches, with a reduction of 18 per cent over the last four years at the Orton branch, and 16 per cent at Whittlesey .
A spokesman for Nat West said the cash machines will remain at the site.
The spokesman added: “We’ve advised staff and we’re writing to our customers to make them aware of the closure and the different ways they can still bank with us.”
