Ambitious 30-year masterplan for Nene Park to be outlined to business leaders

Ambitious plans for the Nene Park Trust are to be unveiled to Peterborough business leaders.

Matthew Bradbury, the trust’s chief executive, will outline the new masterplan and business strategy for trust covering the next 30 years.

The event will take place at Opportunity Peterborough’s Bondholder Spring Drinks on May 24 at 6pm at the Lakeside Kitchen and Bar, in Ferry Meadows. Registration takes place at 5.30pm.

Mr Bradbury said: “We’re very proud of the green spaces we look after and look forward to introducing more of the local business community to Nene Park.

Mr Bradbury added: “This event will provide a great opportunity to find out what we can offer our corporate guests.”

Drinks and canapés will be provided by Meadow Brown Restaurants, which manages the two park cafes.

Attendees can view the corporate packages on offer with Nene Outdoors and Rutland Cycling, discuss volunteering opportunities within Nene Park and explore the new meeting room facilities available at Lakeside.
