Peterborough accountants and tax advisors Bulley Davey is advising local companies to enter industry awards to help support business success next year.
Bulley Davey has sponsored the Smaller Business of the Year category at the Peterborough Telegraph Business Awards for a number of years and has been evaluating the impact that a win can have on businesses.
Rachael Dudley, director, said: “Being nominated allows you to experience all of the benefits so perhaps this is your chance to consider entering an industry award over the next 12 months to help define and promote your company. It is a great way to take stock of what you have achieved and where you are heading next.”
Karl Hick, managing director of the Larkfleet Group, and who last year won Business Person of the Year, said: “It helped demonstrate that Larkfleet has a solid track record. It raised our profile and conveyed the message to customers, partners and suppliers that we are a successful, local business that is developing for the long term.”
Layth Karagholi, director of Total Displays, winners of the PT Smaller Business of the Year in 2013, said: “It’s a great morale booster for the team. Our win rewarded everybody for their hard work and has helped the company achieve more success over the past 12 months.”
Drew Bradshaw, joint managing director of Bradshaw Electric Vehicles, won the PT Business of the Year award in 2013: “The awards allowed us to show off several years of hard work following the recession. It made us appreciate the depth of quality and variety in and around Peterborough.”
