Branch makes £200 donation to charity

Norwich & Peterborough Building Society's Werrington branch presented a £200 cheque to Facial Palsy UK as part of the Charity Choices Campaign supported by Yorkshire Building Society Charitable Foundation, of which Norwich and Peterborough Building Society is part.

“Facial paralysis affects children and adults. There are many causes including infection, injury, cancer and neurological problems,” said the charity’s Lorraine Thurston. “People often tell me that the thing they miss most is their smile. We all rely on facial signals when we communicate. If someone is unable to smile they are seen as unfriendly or uncaring.”
