Police and fire crews are at the scene of a fire at a property Peterborough, this afternoon.

Police and fire were called to Crown Street in New England at 1.20pm.

A bonfire has spreads out of control and set fire to a garden fence and shed.

A spokesman for the police said it had come very close to spreading to the house too.

Fire crews from as far away as Market Deeping and Sawtry had to attend as other crews were unavailable.
