The EUs first official Black Ops III eSports tournament exclusively on PS4, provided by Am2pro, is said to be running in Peterborough this weekend.

Gamers of all ages are invited to the Peterborough Garden Park in Eye Road on Saturday, November 28 and Sunday, November 29.

Access to the public is completely free to spectate or just wander around and try some of the games on offer, like Star Wars Battle Front.

As well as the tournament there will be Halo 5, Battlefront, Project Cars and for the over 18s Mortal Combat X all free to play.

Organiser Terry Harris said: “We are aiming to make this an exciting free family day out spread over 10,000sq feet in the run up to Christmas.

“This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the rapidly expanding world eSports and everything it has to offer. There is ample free parking at the centre to allow setting up and breaking down and security will be on duty through the night.”

Doors are open from 11am to 8pm on Saturday and again on Sunday from 11am. Doors close Sunday when the tournament concludes in the evening and a winning team is announced.
