Air ambulance lands in Peterborough to help young boy with breathing difficulties

A young boy was rushed to hospital after suffering breathing difficulties in Peterborough today, Tuesday April 12.

The Magpas air ambulance and the East of England Ambulance Service were called at 11.37am this morning.

A Magpas spokesman said: “Magpas Doctor Rupert Hurry and Paramedic Ryan Warwick landed in Peterborough, via the air ambulance, to treat a young boy suffering from breathing difficulties.

“The Magpas team administered the child with drugs to help his breathing. Paramedics from EEAST Ambulance Service then took the boy by land ambulance to Peterborough City Hospital. He was in a stable condition on arrival.

“We have no further information at this time.”
