A large crowd made the most of the glorious Bank Holiday weather for a truly brie-lliant day at the traditional Stilton Cheese Rolling.

Fancy dress, fairground rides and of course the cheese rolling itself made it a successful event with plenty on offer to keep people entertained throughout the day.

And as our photographs show, Stilton High Street was an array of colour as people made the most of the high temperatures and extra day off following the weekend.

Men’s, women’s and children’s teams all got involved in the cheese rolling, and further entertainment came in the form of Morris dancers and artist Michelle Deyna-Hayward who came with own her painting of a Stilton cheese.
