Woman dies after collision

A woman died earlier today (Tuesday) following a single car collision on a road near Peterborough.
The woman, who is believed to be around 25-years-old, was the only occupant in the car at the time of the collision, which happened at around 7.30am on the B660 between Holme and the A1.

I do not know if this accident was anything to do with the weather, but...

The roads out that way had been gritted today, although I cannot speak for the area between Holme and the "Radcliffe" turning, but there were still odd patches of ice and although people SHOULD know how to drive in these conditions, they forget. Local radio could do a bit more to encourage safer driving. Traffic reports curiously fail to mention the likelyhood of back roads being dangerous.
