Witness appeal after girl, 5, hit by car outside school

A FIVE-year-old girl has been injured after being struck by a car outside a Whittlesey school on Friday afternoon.
The incident happened in Drybread Road, Whittlesey, outside Aldermans Jacob School, at about 3.40pm on Friday, 19 June.

Police said the girl, who was on foot, suffered minor injuries in the collision with the green car, and they are now urging any witnesses to the incident to come forward.

Pc Phil Nicholls, who is investigating the accident, said: "I would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of this collision and witnessed the incident."
