"THE show must go on" were the words of the Peterborough Festival organisers, as overnight weather and traffic on the A1 caused disruptions to the weekends activities.
During the night strong winds caused damage to the main stage at the Embankment, meaning a replacement had to be constructed early this morning.
If that wasn't bad enough, a backlog on the A1 left some of the acts stranded.
However the show did go on, with folk act Newadah standing in for African tribal band Kaago, who were stuck in traffic. An action packed weekend is still expected with 14 acts ready to appear on stage.
