Van man faces driving charges

A VAN driver is due to appear in court charged with a number of offences after he was stopped by police or allegedly driving while using a mobile.
Officers’ suspicions were raised at just after midnight on Saturday, when they claimed they saw a man drive past using a mobile telephone.

When they stopped the vehicle the driver was allegedly found to be driving while disqualified and driving without insurance.

A 39-year-old man from Thorney, near Peterborough, is due appear at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court on October 7 charged with driving while disqualified and driving without insurance.
