Two in court over betting shop raids

TWO men have appeared in court charged with a series of armed robberies.
Sebastian Waller and Philip Kelly – both aged 24 – have been charged with three robberies in the area over the past few weeks.

They include hold-ups at S&D Bookmakers, in Market Deeping, Betfred Bookmakers, in the Bretton Centre, and S&D Bookmakers, in Bourges Boulevard.

Waller, of Skaters Way, Werrington, Peterborough, and Kelly, of Flag Fen Road, Peterborough, have both been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery.

They were remanded into custody at Peterborough Magistrates' Court on Monday, and re-appeared before JPs yesterday.
