PLANNERS have rejected a proposal to put up a 60-metre wind turbine in the Fens.
TCI Renewables Limited – the company behind a failed attempt to erect four wind turbines on land south of Flag Fen – had applied for planning permission to develop an Anglian Water site in Creek Road, March.

As part of the application, the company wanted to build an access track and create areas of hardstanding.

However, planning officers at Fenland District Council have dismissed the scheme.
