Third man charged over prison death

5pm: A THIRD man has been charged in connection with the death of a prisoner in Peterborough Prison last year.
Brian Haynes (33) died after being assaulted in the prison on the evening of Thursday, September 11.

Gary Stretch (42), who is already in custody, was yesterday charged with manslaughter. He is due to appear at Peterborough Magistrates' Court on January 29.

Shane Farrington (25) and Paul Dennis Jefford (23) have already been charged with manslaughter in connection with the death. A further four men are on police bail.
