Thief strikes to drive off in van

POLICE are appealing for information after a thief drove off in a van and stole its contents before dumping the vehicle half a mile down the road.
Its owner had left the blue LDV box van unlocked with the keys in the ignition for about 30 seconds while he popped into a warehouse in Cradge Bank, Spalding.

The opportunist thief struck and got away with £80 and a Nokia mobile phone. The theft took place at about 11.20am on Monday.
