A CROOK scaled a fence armed with a paper shredder following a burglary at a DIY store.
Focus DIY in Martin Avenue, March was broken into at about 9.30pm on Sunday, November 18.

A man climbed an 8ft fence and used a paving slab to smash his way into the store.

He then stole a paper shredder and climbed back over the fence into Hostmoor Avenue - which is directly opposite a Tesco supermarket car park.

PC Justin Bielawski said: "This crime was committed a quite a busy time of night and I am sure that shoppers and people driving and walking along Hostmoor Avenue will have noticed this man climbing over the fence.""

Anyone with any information can contact PC Bielawski at March Police Station on 0845 4564564 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
