Tallington: 'Dead body' was man at lunch

POLICE were called to the scene of a reported dead body in a ditch, but only found a man having his lunch.
Several officers went out to Tallington at 3.30pm yesterday after receiving reports of a body lying in a ditch by the A16 near Stamford.
But Lincolnshire police said it was not a body, but a man who had simply stopped in the area to eat his lunch.
