The chairwoman of the school's governors Judith Jones responded today with a strongly-worded statement.
Giving full backing to Mary Mihovilovic, the head teacher, she said: "The recent inspection report has failed to take into account the diversity of our pupils, as well as the school's positive contextual value-added scores.

"We are delighted however that the report has reflected the strength of our sixth form and the excellent progress made by our pupil.

"Our highly valued staff, led by an extremely dedicated headteacher, continues to work for the good of our pupils, and the governing body wholeheartedly supports them in their endeavours."

She added that allegations of bullying of Polish pupils at the school were malicious.

I bet the boys at Eton are terrified their jobs will be snapped up by St John Fisher's finest!
