Shower unit causes fire

A HOUSE was left damaged by fire after a shower unit in the bathroom burst into flames.
No one was hurt in the incident which occurred at Halmer Paddock apartment block, off Queens Road, in Spalding, at about 7pm on Saturday.

Fire officers say the cause of the incident was an electrical fault in the shower unit, and the en-suite bathroom suffered moderate smoke damage.
