TWO brothers accused of murdering their half-brother were like "Dumb and Dumber" when they were together, a court heard.
James (30) and Mark Baigent (27) were described as being like the characters in the slap-stick movie by James' wife Charlotte in police interviews after the brothers were arrested.

During the interviews, which were read to jurors at Cambridge Crown Court yesterday, Mrs Baigent said the pair were "unpredictable" when they got together.

She said: "When they get an idea in their head they will go out and do it no matter what, or how stupid."

Mrs Baigent (28) was brought in for questioning on January 3, 2007 - the same day as the Baigent brothers and Jeff Woods (36) were arrested on suspicion of murdering Andrew Scanlan.

The Baigent brothers, and Woods, from Bracknell, Berkshire, all deny murder.

Charlotte Baigent, from Sandhurst, Surrey, is accused of helping the three cover up the murder.

She denies three counts of assisting an offender and perverting the course of justice.
