AN EXCITING new project for teenagers who have been made homeless was given the seal of approval by a top Posh star.
United forward Aaron Mclean was on hand to launch the new Taiterz group, set up by youngsters at the Peterborough Foyer in Tait House, Eastfield Road.
The Foyer is a project that sets up accommodation for people aged from 16 to 20, who, for a variety of reasons, have been made homeless.
The group aims to give the youngsters the chance to take part in a number of activities, including attending Peterborough United matches, that they would not normally be able to do.
youth worker Richard Harris said: “Aaron opened the group, and talked to the youngsters, as well as signing autographs.
“They were all very interested in football, and looking forward to going to a match later in the season.
“The Taiterz group is important because it allows the youngsters to organise activities themselves.”
