Murdered by CSI fan, jury told
BREAKING NEWS 4PM: A Peterborough man was murdered by his half-brother - a fan of hit US TV series CSI, who used information from the show to cover his tracks.
Cambridge Crown Court was told James Baigent tried to throw police off the scent after Andrew Scanlan was killed by using what he had seen in the crime drama.
Baigent, his brother Mark and friend Jeff Woods are accused of murdering Mr Scanlan.
The court was told the brothers hated Scanlan, who had reported Mark Baigent to the police following an attempted robbery in 1998.

MONDAY 10AM: THREE men will go on trial today charged with the murder of Peterborough man Andrew Scanlan.
Mark Baigent (27), of Medworth, Orton Goldhay, Peterborough, James Baigent (30), of Moor Close, Sandhurst, Surrey, and Jeff Woods (36), of Birch Hill, Bracknell, Berkshire, will appear at Cambridge Crown
Court.
Charlotte Baigent, of Sandhurst, will also be before the court accused of perverting the course of justice.
Mr Scanlan was reported missing from his home in Dickens Street, Eastfield, Peterborough, in November 2006.
His body was subsequently found on wasteland in Hampshire.
