ITEMS including a box of MMR vaccines have been stolen from a doctor's surgery.
The measles, mumps and rubella vaccines were taken along with syringes and a computer monitor from the Old Fletton surgery, in Rectory Gardens, Peterborough.

The theft happened just before 6pm on Thursday, October 2, when a man entered a room inside the surgery and stole the items.

DS Dave Trippet, who is investigating, said: “The vaccines are only dangerous in very rare circumstances. However, we would advise anyone who comes across this medication to get in contact with police immediately.

“We are appealing for witnesses who may have seen anything suspicious in the area of the doctors’ surgery to get in touch.”

n Anyone with information should call DS Trippet at Hampton police station on 0845 456 4564 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
