TWO Cambridgeshire-based groups will perform in Huntingdon next month.
Currently ranked the UK’s second best small chorus, Classic Harmony is a 30-strong ladies-only harmony group from Peterborough.

Directed by John Armstrong, the group was originally formed in 1991 as a small mixed chorus. They became a ladies-only choir in 1993 after joining Sweet Adelines International, an organisation of nearly 30,000 women from all over the world who sing in barbershop style.

They will perform alongside Sawtry’s Vocal Academy, which was formed in 2001 and has competed in many competitions.

The concert will start at 7.30pm at the Commemoration Hall, in Huntingdon, on February 1.

nTickets cost £5.50 per person and are available from 01480 455167, or the Card Gallery in Huntingdon Market Square.
