GUIDE Dog Week celebrations are coming to Peterborough in a move to highlight the best ways that sighted people can provide help.
A team from the East Anglia district team of Guide Dogs will be handing out complimentary Sighted Guiding DVDs and leaflets at the event being held in Cathedral Square, in Peterborough, on Tuesday from 10.30am to 3pm.

The team’s staff and volunteers will highlight that in potentially difficult situations, such as a busy cluttered high street, people with sight loss can sometimes need an extra helping hand to get around, even if they have a guide dog or use a cane.
