Phone lines at the Evening Telegraph have been red hot with reported sightings of two of the big names from Big Brother 9 in Peterborough today.

Luke and Rebecca, who had an on-screen romance in the reality TV show, were first spotted grabbing a bite to eat in Subway and later outside the Passport Office.

Sue Tolomeo emailed to say her daughter Mili met the couple on her way to the cinema.

"She said they were really friendly and Luke was very funny. They were going on holiday."

I'm not impressed though, because I saw the bass player from Hot Chocolate down Long Causeway two weeks last Saturday. Well, it looked like him anyway.

I saw Timmy Mallet last year in the city, why did that not make the news?

What a joke, these people are not famous and in 6 months will be back working in day jobs and a thing of the past. Judging by the viewing figures Big Brother will be long gone soon.
